The incident occurred in Orange County around 3:40 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 25, in Wallkill.
According to Lt. Robert McLymore of the Wallkill Police, the department, along with the New York State Police, performed a vehicle stop at Exit 116 on Route 17, which led to the arrest of five of the five suspects.
A subsequent investigation resulted in the recovery of three loaded firearms, McLymore said.
Those charged included:
- Capital Region resident Shawn A. Briggs, age 35, of Troy. Charged with criminal possession of a weapon (2 counts) and criminal possession of a weapon fourth-degree. Briggs was remanded to Orange County Jail on bail for $10,000 cash, $20,000 bail bond, and $40,000 partially secured bond until his next court appearance.
- Capital Region resident Kyran Nardolillo, age 38, of Glenmont. Charged with criminal possession of a weapon (2 counts), criminal possession of a weapon fourth-degree, and resisting arrest. Nardolillo was remanded to Orange County Jail on bail for $10,000 cash, $20,000 bail bond, and $40,000 partially secured bond until his next court appearance.
- Capital Region resident Kim Williams, age 51, of Troy. Charged with criminal possession of a weapon (2 counts) and criminal possession of a weapon fourth-degree. Williams was remanded to Orange County Jail on bail for $10,000 cash, $20,000 bail bond, and a $40,000 partially secured bond until his next court appearance.
- Capital Region resident Quinton Ryan, age 28, of Troy. Charged with obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. Released on an appearance ticket.
- Greene County resident Shalaeko Banks, age 37, of Waterfront. Charged with driving without a license and equipment violations. Released on traffic tickets.
